Bersani seen winning Italy's centre-left primary: exit poll

ROME (Reuters) - Pier Luigi Bersani was seen winning the run-off primary of Italy's Democratic Party to be the center-left's candidate for prime minister in national elections next spring, according to an exit poll on Sunday.
The poll by the Peipoli Institute showed Bersani, the head of the Democratic Party, winning 61.5 percent against 38.5 percent for his rival, Florence Mayor Matteo Renzi.
