123 Sexually Exploited Children Identified in "Operation Sunflower"

A woman arrested in Springfield is among those sentenced in a nationwide sting called Operation Sunflower.  The investigation identified 123 victims of sexual exploitation and resulted in 245 people being arrested.  US Immigration and Customs Enforcement reports 48-year-old Ann Marie Piper was sentenced in November to 25 years in federal prison and lifetime supervised release for her involvement in the production and distribution of child pornography.  Some of the images recovered led to ICE authorities rescuing a victim and arresting Piper.  Authorities are still searching for others involved.
